The reason that you are using a heavy lifting bar is that it will be able to help with lifting the weights off of the springs and it will be a much easier task to lift the weights off of the springs.
You will also need to make sure that you have a way to carry the moving gym equipment that you have. If you have a moving elliptical and you are not carrying it then you are not going to be able to safely move it and you may actually be risking your safety on it.
If you have any other moving gym equipment then you should take the time to check that you have a way to transport it. If you do not have a good way to transport it then you may be putting yourself at risk.
